What Are You Reading Right Now?

I generally break my reading down into 3 categories: 1. Sales & Business2. World Knowledge3. FunAt any one time, I’m working my way through multiple books. The ratio of time I devote to each category completely depends on my mood. Or, as is the case this week, whether the author is going to be a guest on Accelerate! Here’s what I’m reading right now. It’s pure coincidence that two of the books were written by authors who share the same first and last names.Sales & Business:Great Leaders Have No Rules by Kevin Kruse. Kevin is the CEO of LEADx. I’m reading his book now in preparation for Kevin being a guest again on Accelerate! This will be his 3rd appearance on <em "=">Accelerate! Kevin is also the author of my all-time favorite book on personal time management 15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management, that should be on everyone’s bookshelf.World Knowledge:Fault Lines: A History of the U.S. since 1974 by Kevin M. Kruse and Julian A Zelizer. This Kevin Kruse is a Professor of History at Princeton. (He is also the one person you absolutely should be following on Twitter. I wish I were half as smart and clever as he is.) Fault Lines is an in-depth look at the origins of the political polarization that’s seemingly become a fixture in our society. I’m curious to learn whether the authors believe there’s a way out of this.Fun: For The Dead by Timothy Hallinan. I’m a big consumer of suspense-mystery-espionage novels. This book is part of Hallinan’s series featuring his protagonist Poke Rafferty, an American ex-pat travel writer living in Bangkok who manages to find himself in the middle of a lot of trouble. What are you reading now?- Andy Paul
